Problem - Consumers are becoming increasingly conscious of the knock on effect their buying habits are having on the environment. As a guy I found it difficult to locate good companies as often the blogs and platforms promoting these brands were designed a more female audience. This sparked an idea… Solution - I created the compendia. An ethical brand directory designed for both men and women. Compendia was born as a digital platform that makes it easier for conscious consumers to connect with brands that care about their environmental impact. Results - We grew a 1000+ Instagram audience, promoted over 30 brands, and pivoted our focus towards helping small independent makers and brands at Christmas by launching an ‘ethical shopping gift guide.’ www.instagram.com/compendia_
