Concept Drawing for D&AD Brief

Blurring the Boundaries A prospective art installation designed to be displayed at D&AD New Blood Awards 2019. The work will be constructed of fluorescent tubes of light. As the tubes are aligned behind one another, the colours of each light blend in a seamless transition. The work is a representation of the creative industry and how there is no longer a distinct border between art and design. We find ourselves in a time where categories and disciplines are less important, with skills prevailing. The work celebrates the liberty that this gives us as designers.
