Conforming to Optimism was a project I completed in my final term of the FdA Tailoring course at the London College of Fashion. It focuses on growing up and combines the colour of children clothes mixed with dark business suits. I looked at school uniform and this formed a lot of the aesthetic. I made one full outfit for my final assessment, and then another outfit from my final line up which was shown in the university catwalk.
