Conservation Society

To be as immersed as possible in the English speaking environment, I take an active part in various social activities. Conversation Cafe enables me to acquire intercultural communication skills, to be easier to open up and make a lot of new friends in both on and off campus. Iexplore is an activity arranged by Highfield church center, from which I know many stories in the bible that I had never heard before. I was most surprised by the activities of the conservation volunteer society. I usually feel that time past quickly with the friends there, even if doing manual work for the environment protection from morning to sunset. I used to think that there is an invisible glass between English native speakers and me, but now I often enjoy speaking English at the end of the volunteer work of each week.
