In October 2019, COS showcased their SS20 collection to press at their flagship press day in London. Held at The Swiss Church, this was the first time in 3 years that the brand had hosted the seasonal event outside of its Head Office. Many CSR initiatives were implemented as part of this activity, including guests being encouraged to bring with them food-items, that would then be used as part of a weekly breakfast held at the venue for the local homeless community. The event also presented the opportunity for COS to debut the message that in 2020, all cotton within the brand’s collections would be more sustainably sourced. This was successfully communicated via signage incorporated within the hired railing system, and along with the collection and setting, generated a considerable amount of positive social media coverage.
