Creative Direction - ag. (Music Project)

I gave creative direction and support to a music duo called 'ag.' They approached me with knowledge of my Architectural Degree and understood my creative ambitions with my own work. They wanted support on branding as well as logo design initially and after working with the guys i helped them with various projects ensuring their brand identity and creative vision was right. This was a freelance side project where i got to use my experience with strategic creative thinking from my architectural work. Working in the music world was a great learning curve as it's very different to my world. At university i did a dissertation on the underground rave culture, the use of abandoned spaces in cities like Berlin, Manchester was very inspiring, the raw buildings and industrial elements became relative to the underground music culture. In one of the above pictures you can see the use of the logo i designed with them and the architectural concept using the Barbican Centre building. This building helped support their brand of underground music. This was experience and i look forward to using my creative knowledge and skills in various industries.
