CURATED EVENT: Marylou Faure X The Book Club

The Book Club launched it’s first exhibition of 2020 with a debut show for me as their new curator! Working under Skye Victoria Projects to produce an array of curated exhibitions and events. The first exhibition of the year is from the incredible Marylou Faure, who created a new collection of work that sits across the entire venue, using both prints and mural art to create a new and excited space. About the exhibition: Marylou Faure invites you to come and chill with her characters at The Book Club for a lazy afternoon around the pool with her brand new solo exhibition: A la piscine – Combining a new collection of both print and mural work featuring warm splashes of colour, you can be sure to forget the cold, the winter and enjoy a little heat wave within her transformation Well known for her character design, bold colours and hand-written typography, Marylou aspires to create artwork that invokes joy with her cheeky and playful style. All framed artwork will be available to purchase online from skyevictoriaprojects.com and Marylou will be releasing a limited edition tote bag and pin for the event that is exclusive to The Book Club exhibition only.
