D&AD 2019 - Typography

After looking into a range of briefs set by D&AD, I chose to complete a project based around the brief that asked us to create a typographic outcome that could help advertise/present a community of our choice. I chose to develop a typographic piece surrounding the community of drum corps, it isn't well known amongst many but is an artistic style of a marching band, where they compete and perform different shows with different concepts and styles of music. The concept behind my design was to use the grid/layout of these formations to create typography.
