Dance is my passion, and I always learn so much talking directly to dancers, choreographers and dance leaders. In the past few years, for Wallpaper* and Fjord Review, I have interviewed influential dance-world figures such as William Forsythe, and ballerinas Tiler Peck and Alina Cojocaru; I have spoken to Yolande Yorke-Edgell of Yorke Dance Project about turning Kenneth MacMillan's ballet 'Sea of Troubles' into a short film, and written about the work of Wayne McGregor. Recently, I covered the opening of the new Sadler's Wells East theatre in London. Commissioned by Shutterstock, I have also looked at different approaches to dance photography. Looking forward to more writing exploring why dance is such a compelling art form.
