Dance Writing

Dance is my passion, and talking to dancers and choreographers is always illuminating. In the past few years, for Wallpaper* and Fjord Review, I have interviewed influential choreographer William Forsythe, and star ballerinas Tiler Peck and Alina Cojocaru; I have spoken to Yolande Yorke-Edgell of Yorke Dance Project about turning Kenneth MacMillan's ballet 'Sea of Troubles' into a short film and reviewed the work of Wayne McGregor. Commissioned by Shutterstock, I have also written about the different approaches to dance photography. Looking forward to more writing exploring why dance is such a compelling art form.
