In my final project at university I have designed a printed textile collection for high end fashion, inspired by French Impressionists paintings of gardens. I have undertaken trend research and completed some large scale vibrant paintings of florals. My collection takes painting in an innovative direction, merging the boundaries between blurred photography and fine art. I have created a bold, imaginative, contemporary collection inspired by the techniques of the French Impressionists. I received recognition for this concept from the Joules design team and was awarded a high commendation in the development stages of the project.
