Daybreaker x One World Trade Center (Financial District, New York)

Daybreaker is an early morning dance movement in 27 cities around the world and growing. They start with a one hour yoga + fitness experience and then dance with reckless abandon for two hours before work! We came together in March of 2019 to give the one world trade center it’s first-ever dance party! In collaboration with LG to #ExperienceHappiness we took the party to floor 102 on the international day of happiness… As the lead production and AV team, we brought in a range of lighting and visuals that spoke ‘happy’ and ‘bright’, coupled with a THUMPING audio rig to shake the building awake. We hosted a range of DJ’s with a dance party the building will never forget. There were several challenges around working in the infamous One World Trade Center; we had to work around several venue rules and regulations that come with a space 100 floors up. We had to time specifically around access availability and the many tourists that would be in the building. Although these were somewhat limitations, we worked around them and set the event off successfully without any flaws.
