Unity & Motion are a full-service production company providing content strategy and end to end content production for global brands. We have just launched UNIFY Creative (www.weunify.co.uk) to take action on the challenges the UK Creative Industry is facing and has been facing for a long time. Jeans For Refugees is a unique art and fashion collection by Johny Dar, dedicated to supporting refugees worldwide. The initiative is simple: Celebrities donate their jeans. Johny Dar paints them. The Jeans For Refugees are exhibited and sold to raise funds for the International Rescue Committee. As Digital Marketing Manager, I lead digital strategy, optimization, and technique in social, email, and online. I contribute toward increased brand awareness, voice, and alignment alongside other business strategies, both online and offline.

They take the stress out of moving house, selling possessions and clutter busting as a client prepares to move home or just downsize. They work closely with real estate agents, rest homes, lawyers, and elder communities within the Auckland area. I have worked with the team for many years, leading the marketing and strategy behind digital media, print media, and paid search - building the company up, exploring potential opportunities, and pivoting off of current positioning.

Moving up from the initial intern role to a more senior position, I began producing my own events, managing my own client accounts and relationships as well as leading areas of business opportunity and development. Marketing wise, I led the overall design, strategy, and execution of digital, social, and traditional forms of media campaigns; leading a small team. Event accounts included Reebok, Champion, Equinox, Spotify, Ralph Lauren, Maybelline, The NY Knicks, The North Face, Delta Airlines, Air BNB, COS, AWAY Travel, MAC Cosmetics, the Guggenheim, Daybreaker, Longines Masters and more.
Fresh Concept is an Auckland-based company specialising in creative solutions and treatments of space through design, installation and placemaking. This was a creative community role where my main duties involved supporting the event managers in the team by helping to develop event collateral, plans and H+S plans. As well as bespoke tasks, contributing to programming and creativity (and drafting planning or other materials to go with). I also assisted with social media content, creativity, plans, and management and website copy. A lot of the job also meant helping with onsite event support for several community events at Silo Park, Parnell's Heard Park, and Panmure.
J&A Productions specialize in sponsorship and event activation; and are particularly known in the NZ industry as award show specialists. During this internship with them I worked closely alongside the event manager(s) completing administrative, talent coordination, volunteer management, and office management work, as well as on-site managing and show support during several events; including the Big Screen Symposium, Vodafone Music Awards and NZ TV Awards.
Splore is a three-day music and arts festival staged annually on the shores of Tapapakanga Regional Park in Auckland, New Zealand Throughout the three days an eclectic lineup of musical artists from New Zealand and abroad plays the multiple festival stages. Performing arts, installations, workshops and forums flower across the site. This internship included working with the Splore event team, and closely with the event producer. My intern role included a variety of admin assistance, marketing and website assistance such as designing and writing up mailouts, updating and entering website content and putting together various Splore acts/artist material.
The Designer Pop-Up Sale is one of Auckland’s greatest shopping experiences during NZFW. Bringing together many of our New Zealand leading labels into one sale. My duties involved designer liaising, pitching to designers, web design, marketing, and social media management, content creation, collateral organizing, interviewing designers, forming of media packs, and media blogging on the companies website.
UXBRIDGE Arts & Culture delivers classes & workshops, theatre productions, community events, music events, and several exhibitions in their contemporary art space. This job initially started as a customer services role where I was solely in charge of event and class bookings and inquiries, hire and conference inquiries, and admin work in the office. The role then progressed to where I worked with events and programme manager as well as other managers in the office completing admin work, volunteer and staff recruiting, bookings and sales, event management, and hosting of day trips and tours.
