In my practice I explore the current state of fashion and people through photography and other lens-based mediums. I navigate the both fine art and commercial realm without distinguishing between the two. I create captivating and honest imagery of my subject through my strong personal vision in a democratic way. I travel across the world to tell the stories of people and places with the aim to create an historic document of the times we are living in. I am especially interested in young people and I explore the theme reflecting on my personal memories and experiences of my youth coming from a working class background. I hold a Master of Arts degree in photography from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. My work has been exhibited globally, most notably in The Finnish Museum of Photography (2023) & The Sibelius Museum (2021). Recently I was granted a title collection in The Hip Hop Museum in New York for my work in hip hop. Some of the prominent figures I have photographed include Rosanne Cash, Martha Cooper, The Game, Duckwrth, Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz of Onyx. I have published two books: Seoul Journal (2019) and Punos (2019).
