De Beauvoir Block

  • Lewis Dace
Identity for The Benyon Estate’s new development of inspirational workspaces designed for businesses in the creative industry, located within the conservation area of De Beauvoir Town in East London.
The brand was developed to reflect the concept of like-minded people working together in a collaborative and inspiring community.
The name ‘De Beauvoir Block’ retains the location’s uniqueness while recalling the ‘community’ of the new development as well as its distinctive architecture.
The outcome was a modern, blocky identity, that makes great use of white space. It was complemented by solid geometric shapes to represent the different elements that come together to form one block. While the photography captured the detail of the beautiful architecture and natural light throughout the spaces.
