Decadent Deco

This project is based around the theme of the Art Deco era, with sources of inspiration from the F.Scott Fitzgerald book The Great Gatsby. Colours are inspired by the decadent style at the time, using glamorous metallics, with complimenting dark bold colours. The place of application fitted into an interior of a high end hotel, setting my sample qualities to a high standard. There there was research into existing high end companies to reflect the same standard. Working with a range of mixed media, along with different surfaces and using different process, such as UV, Laser etching and screen print. With this there was a range of hand screen printed wallpapers and one fabric to add to the final collection of a mixed media range.
