About me
Specialising in Mixed media surface design for the interior space, however have previously worked on fashion print projects, therefore able to adapt to scale requirements. More focused on digital designs , however also worked with hand screen printing for surface development. Familiar with CAD Wilcom and Adobe softwares. Currently in third year at the Arts University Bournemouth, studying Textiles BA(Hons) Degree.

  • Old Craft. New Builds.
    Old Craft. New Builds.This project is for an interior application. Working with a mixed media approach it explores the key themes of modern architecture, along with the traditional craft of marbling. I was interested to work with the fluid textures that marbling creates and contrast this with the bold colour and geometric shapes within these modern builds.   • Decadent DecoThis project is based around the theme of the Art Deco era, with sources of inspiration from the F.Scott Fitzgerald book The Great Gatsby. Colours are inspired by the decadent style at the time, using glamorous metallics, with complimenting dark bold colours. The place of application fitted into an interior of a high end hotel, setting my sample qualities to a high standard.     Working alongside Lucy McGrath who is an independent marbler, who also works with book binding her own books. I assisted with the book making and general help where need be in the studio. Over the two month placement, I also learnt how to perfect the craft of marbling and working as an independent business.

    Working on a brief set by the cracker company. Working to a set deadline allowed me to better my time management skills. This brief also opened up a new pathway into design for the surface of paper/card and therefore allowed me to see my designs printed on this type of surface, rather than what I'm used to of fabrics and wallpapers for interiors.
