DECO TRIBE - W'innovate

Exotic cultures of African tribes meet the deeply eclectic and highly-decorative art deco. This trend provides an opportunity to mix shapes of expression in symbolic idiom, from both African and Art deco sources. Exploring the differences between art deco and African tribal jewellery, textiles, architecture, ceramic and furniture will inspire the trends movement and design to combine the both together to create an exciting collection. The combination of glamour and 3rdworld trade gives a balance to the trend and strikes a popular chord and account for the huge appeal throughout the world today. The warmth of the Africa will be shown through autumn shades of browns and oranges and the coolness of Art deco will be portrayed with the neutral tones of greys and a dark navy, to represent winter.
