Defying Gravity (Fashion Editorial)

The second editorial is based on the lyrics of “Defying Gravity” by Stephen Schwartz (from the West End and Broadway musical’ Wicked’). I want the perspective of the images to look as if the model is free-falling or floating in the air as if nothing could hold them back through flowing and loose-fitting garments that can blow in the wind. I have chosen to create a narrative through leaving a relationship as I feel it is a universal topic. My interpretation of this concept will show how the use of flowing clothes, unusual compositions and colours (implying purity and innocence) will translate into a unique set of images. This editorial will depict that now the person in her /his life has returned, he/she feels strong and independent.
