Design of a Children Portal

This client was launching a new online tutoring services for children aged 6-11. The goal of this project consisted in creating a platform where children could perform self guided activities before and after the online tuition. The main challenge was designing an experience children enjoy whilst ensuring they complete all the steps (and ideally look forward for their next session). I've came up with a 'frame' where the activities have become a highly gamified space journey. The MVP was created in 2 months, whilst several other sections and functionalities have been added afterwards. The initial feedback from about 100 users is very positive and the completion rate is above the 90% required minimum threshold.
