Designed version of my essay on the topic of backward and orthodox advertisement of period products in mainstream media, in India. I decided to design it in the form of a magazine editorial because thats one of the ways period products are and can be advertised. Pull out quotes were used to draw attention to some important elements of the essay. I used a red stain in the background to represent the staining of blood and spotting that usually occurs during a woman's period, which is one of the things spoken about in the essay.
