Despite All The Land Left Free

Despite All The Land Left Free taken from the poem Going Going by Phillip Larkin. This photographic project explores our engagement with the landscape. Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent, and the surrounding area, is currently in a state of development and progress. As a resident of the surrounding area and having grown up in this landscape, these images present a photographic response to this transient environment. The images capture immersive details of the land and present an emotional and physical engagement with the landscape in a time where we have never been more capable of easily accessing, yet at the same time, being completely isolated from our physical environment.
