Digital Portrait Painting

I used a reference picture taken by the photographer Idreezus Studio to practice drawing male subjects. I was captivated by his bold and emotive use of the colour blue as well the composition and pose of his subject within this photograph. I choose a green / leaf background to play onto this feeling of vulnerability and serenity.
