Disorient is an experimental editorial that captures the sense of dysphoria often felt in the face of overwhelming realities that are larger than all of us. Inspiration for the shoot came from Daisie's own personal experiences of anxieties and panic, born from the uncertainty associated with worsening climate issues and environmental degradation. The bright hues and bleeding colours are a nod to the toxicity our pollution has on the world, whilst blurred silhouettes and long exposures represent the transitory nature of life, and mimic the disorientation felt when tuning into the issue. As the fashion industry has become somewhat notorious in recent years for its significant contribution to the problem, Daisie felt it a relevant topic to explore within a fashion context, and helped to address some of the internal conflicts felt personally when aspiring for a career in the industry.
