Daisie Jacobs is an artist and photographer based in the UK. Jacobs worked as a lecturer in Fashion Marketing for 3 years specialising in Visual Communication. She was the recipient of The Hepworth Wakefield Print Fair Prize 2022 and Graduate Fashion Foundation Creative Direction and Styling Award, 2020.
Through the mediums of moving image and photography she works with themes of the physical human form; the obscured; the less frequented underside of life. Her personal interests in sustainability are also important aspects of her practice.

- DisorientDisorient is an experimental editorial that captures the sense of dysphoria often felt in the face of overwhelming realities that are larger than all of us. Inspiration for the shoot came from Daisie's own personal experiences of anxieties and panic, born from the uncertainty associated with worsening climate issues and environmental degradation. - Viscid Matter - Beauty CampaignViscid Matter is a beauty shoot that treads the line between the grotesque and the beautiful. Inspiration for the shoot came from research into the polluting effects of chewing gum and the shocking statistics reported which suggest it contributes to around 100,000 tonnes of plastic pollution per year. Working with MUA Keli Cartwright-Hughes Daisie drew up looks that felt bold and textural and were reminiscent of gum, to which Keli responded by making a variety of brightly coloured pieces that a
- F.O.A.M (feelings of apprehension, mainly) - Fashion EditorialF.O.A.M, is an editorial that explores the need to safeguard our mental wellbeing in the face of overwhelming issues beyond our control. The title serves two purposes in that it references the expanding foam used to create the looks, and acts as an acronym standing for ‘feelings of apprehension, mainly,’ a phrase that has been significant within my own personal experiences with anxiety and panic. Students must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively through the evaluation of the needs of the viewer/client in respect of market/trends.20
