I strongly believe in diverse representation, not just in the UK but throughout the world. Which is why I launched Diversity Matters Beyond Borders outreach program, inspired by the awareness tour #ThumbsUpForUganda with Italian pianist Fabio Tedde a.k.a Pianist Without Borders, to Uganda and Kenya in Dec 2016 - January 2017.
We are currently supporting initiatives in local communities across Ghana, Kenya and Uganda by working with organisations empowering marginalised children, girls, and women. Using the motto “Unity in Diversity” the aim to use the creative arts as a platform for education and open discussion about accepting and celebrating our differences.
