The Do I know you Project, in collaboration with photographers and other creatives, was an effort to explore the impact an artist's hand makes upon the portrait of another.
What impressions, feelings and thoughts can an artist invoke by representing not only the person, but their relationship with them through art.
I wished the viewer to leave the gallery with some idea of who each subject was, as well as posessing an idea of their relationship with the artist, without receiving any guidance to it's nature whatsoever.
I have always felt art is the closest we will ever come to experiencing the world from another's perspective, and one way to experience the world is to experience each other. This idea is a constant with me and informs most, if not all of my independent art.
