I have studied many creative areas and always enjoy learning, reaching new ground. I love communication in all its forms, and how visual art tells a story that reaches across all barriers.
I love to apply my ability to communicate to every aspect of my work life, and take any opportunity to learn, adapt, and respond well to fast-paced, ever changing environments.
Projects
- Do I Know You? -ExhibitionThe Do I know you Project, in collaboration with photographers and other creatives, was an effort to explore the impact an artist's hand makes upon the portrait of another. What impressions, feelings and thoughts can an artist invoke by representing not only the person, but their relationship with them through art. I wished the viewer to leave the gallery with some idea of who each subject was, as well as posessing an idea of their relationship with the artist, without receiving any guidance to it's nature whatsoever. I have always felt art is the closest we will ever come to experiencing the world from another's perspective, and one way to experience the world is to experience each other. This idea is a constant with me and informs most, if not all of my independent art.

I developed skills in photoshop, illustrator and indesign during this time whilst also helping out wherever I could in this adaptable role.

Bachelor of Design, Majoring in Visual Communications

My Design course covered many disciplines, though I majored in Visual Communications and Arts, I pursued other studies including Fashion, Photography, Graphic Design, graduating with Honours.
The degree helped me to develop my confidence and creative thinking, and the varied nature of the course showed me just how adaptable a creative can be.
