Dolls Hand in Hand

Prosperity dolls (two twisted knots of hair on each side of the head) is a typical paper-cutting art element in China, and also a materialized Chinese traditional idea of "all things have souls, in pursuit of life". The dolls are made for different types of "spiritualism", and Lashou (hand in hand) doll is one presentation of them.
Nowadays, people no longer need to seek the hope of life under the guidance of the above ideas, but as far as I am concerned, the traditional image of "Lashou doll" still has its artistic value. The cultural connotation of it's image can be placed in contemporary era, to represent individuals in the society, and to embody different elements of urban people such as their identity, character, and habits etc,.
