Dream-Land
MA final major project which is consisted of a three-series fashion editorials, having its core inspiration derived from the uncanny. From a psychoanalytical point of view, Sigmund Freud defined the uncanny as the strange sensation people feel when encountered with a familiar object in an unfamiliar circumstance.
Life of its Own
It is said that humans experience a sense of uncanniness when gazing at garments that hae a ceratin connection to their owners. Why do people have such an attachment to their clothes? Have you imagined that perhaps they have a life of their own?

A Decor Object
Ordinary objects- such as mannequins that have an uncanny resemblence to the human body- unveil ambiguities that shift their identity and introduce an element of uncertainty. What if instead of the subject, we imagine the body as the object? Would it be of any use? Or would it only fulfill our ego's needs?
