A surreal dialogue about dreams, in which fantasy and reality powerfully fuse together in a dreamlike journey to love and self-acceptance.
Dreams is an independent short film that explores the complex relationship between expectations and reality, and how our idea of love impacts our quest for happiness.
When my brother Matteo - independent filmmaker and videographer - approached me to make his script for Dreams happen I was thrilled to take part of the project, teaming up with a talented team of young creatives and professionals to bring this colourful, introspective dream-like story to life.
The project is entirely self-funded and took over one year in the making, from initial production to casting, location scouting, shooting and post production.
Just a few days after its completion, Dreams was included in the Official Selection of the London City Film Awards, and became part of the Lift-Off Global Network, an organisation encompassing worldwide live screening events and a seasonal awards ceremony.
