The collection is based on a Jamaican drug-lord 'Dudus.' Paradoxically at the time of Dudus' arrest, he was caught disguised as a woman, contradictory to the typical hyper-masculine stereotype of a black drug dealer. As Dudus had been an influential figure amongst Kingston, Jamaica this sparked a new sense of style amongst young black men, liberalising the common societal constraints of masculinity. The set design was styled in the theme of a typical working-class Jamaican home, inspiration taken from the designer, Jazz Grant's, grandmothers home, with the models made to show strength and assertiveness despite the typical feminine attire.
