As a member of a collaborative group, our task was to analyse Dyson's current Tmall product listing design, comparing it with competitors within the application. The research showed that Tmall is a mobile-only platform, requiring mobile-oriented designs. Our research also showed the importance of video content in this Chineses market. Recognising video as a crucial component, we incorporated this finding into our design strategy This helped us create user-centred designs for the Dyson shop front on the Tmall app. These designs would ensure that we were keeping up with competitors while also standing out using key trends in the Chinese market. Re-search was key to the succes of this project alongside working extremely closely with the local team in China.
