About Voice for the Planet
The science has never been clearer or more urgent: our planet is under threat. Plastic pollution, air and water pollution, climate change, deforestation and other harmful human activities are destroying our natural world. This is a direct threat to our future. We need an ambitious new deal for nature and people that sustainably manages our planet, limits global warming to 1.5°C, protects at least 30% of the planet by 2030, and safeguards our natural spaces & species
Voice for the Planet was launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2019 by the Global Shapers. The aim, to showcase the growing movement of people around the world calling for a new deal for nature and people: urgent global action to address the current crisis for nature.
