Brief: To design a featured article and front cover for an exclusive Timeout Magazine on Unconventional Travel Destinations.
Concept: The design concept was inspired by “Big Brother”, a fictional character in a novel by George Orwell, mirroring the article content and the disclosure of information by the US government. This was represented in the design by the masking and defacing of content with image treatment that represented workers being silenced.
