Editorial brochures

  • Tomás Morren
Equity create inspiring educational trips for young people. But the key decision makers are the teachers who lead the trips and they were the target of this pair of specialist brochures.

Competitor analysis showed a tendency towards traditional travel orientated design. My approach was to confound those expectations and demonstrate Equity's specialism through an editorial structure. We wanted to talk directly to teachers who were passionate about their field, whilst still showing off some of the world's most awe-inspiring spectacles.

An extensive photography sourcing process was undertaken to bring context to the fantastic editorial content which was produced.

History photography:
Cities exist as events have shaped them. For the product pages major events and dates were spotlighted using archival photography, news imagery or art.

Geography photography:
Geography happens constantly, at every scale; from the enormous to the microscopic. Spectacular destination imagery of geographical processes were juxtaposed by satellite or aerial imagery, then finally more intimate shots to represent the impact of mankind on the world around us.
