EE Social Brand Launch

From September 2012 – July 2013 I worked as Social Copywriter & Community Manager for EE at Poke London.

I was part of the ‘Social Media Swat Team’ created to guide the new brand from pre-launch strategy and planning stages through to fully-operational national telecommunications brand.

From the outset, I provided insight and recommendations for social strategy of new EE brand. Thanks to the efforts of myself and the team, EE's social strategy was realised and executed perfectly - the first major UK brand launch in over a decade, and certainly the first to launch via social media.

Along with the rest of the Social Media SWAT Team, I was responsible for the development of content pillars and campaigns for EE, based on brand positioning and propositions, along with the creation and maintenance of content plans, and 'socialising' PR and Customer Services statements to make them acceptable and useful on social media.

The brand was ranked 6th ‘Most Socially Devoted Brand' in the UK for 2012 by SocialBakers (the only telco to place in the top 10, and this in the first three months of the brand’s existence).
