Coleoptera, Everyone needs an Armour My collection "Coleoptera, everyone needs an armour" is inspired by Coleoptera and insects that have natural armours to protect themselves. I’ve always been fascinated by these wonderful creatures…those shapes, those colours and those armours!! Elytra are the hardened forewings of Coleoptera, basically their armour.​ This is my first digital collection and it’s a celebration of these creatures who inspired the name of my brand: EElytra.
