Red Dancing Shoes
A year since the passing of my Grandad, I photographed my Grandmother in her favourite red dress. They had been ballroom dancing for over 60 years every week and were due to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary just weeks before his passing.
After his death my Grandmother didn't have the motivation to pick up her dancing shoes again. After a year, she felt the confidence to put her favourite red dancing shoes and favourite red dress.
Her strength is carried on forward with a necklace that she always wears stating: 'Never Forget' in memory of my Grandad.
