El día blanco

Alejandra Leon Colombian Photographer, Cinematographer and Visual Artist. My artistic practice is based on self-portrait, archive footage and experimental film. By creating dialogues with different analog formats such as 35mm and 120mm and digital formats such as video and cinema, my idea is to take my artistic practice into a tool of self expression but also a path of growth and healing. I believe that being creative is not only being artistic, I feel is a way to connect into deeper layers of our own universes and let them express and manifest as they are. Over the years, I realized that the act of turning the camera towards myself (my regular daily life), has allowed me to understand, observe and even to relate better to my own intimacy, spaces, memory and identity. This is a sample of my work,
