I am a Colombian Photographer and Filmmaker, living between Thailand and Colombia.
Asia is my love, but my roots are in South America.
My work is a mix between my travels and my own intimacy.
My artistic practice is based on self-portrait, archive footage, mindfulness and experimental cinema. I am interested in exploring concepts as memory, femininity and intimacy.
My art is my path of living, is how I explore the multiple layers within myself, within love and life.
Projects
- IndiaFor 3 years, I traveled alone through India, Nepal and Thailand. This are some of my personal memories, visions and perceptions of a very personal and intimate journey. India was candy for my senses, sometimes more bitter than sweet. She taught me about having strength and courage. Traveling as a woman alone can be challenging, but it was a life changing experience. I remember thinking while walking: Am I dreaming? People staring, noises, smells...then pure silence and peace. A very strange

By creating dialogues with different analog formats such as 35mm and 120mm and digital formats such as video and cinema, my idea is to take my artistic practice into a tool of self expression but also a path of growth and healing.
