Ephemera | 2021 – International. Ephemera is an independent peer-reviewed open access online journal founded in 2001 about theory and politics in organising composed of academics from all over the world. Countering the current hegemonisation of social theory, it operates at the margins of organisation studies continuously seeking to question what organisation studies is and what it can become. The journal is supported by individual donors and academic institutions, currently the University Library of Bern, Switzerland and the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. Ephemera’s ‘ACTIVIST ORGANISING AND ORGANISING ACTIVISM: A POST-PANDEMIC WORLD IN THE MAKING‘ conference program opens with a Panel on ‘Organising for Social Change: Arts, Activism and Research’ with interventions by Casco (Netherlands) among others. Followed by sections on ‘Arts Activism’, ‘Activism and Pandemic Reflections’, ‘Politics of Alternative Organising’, ‘Theory in Practice’, ‘Organising Democracy and the state’, ‘Tensions and Opportunities within Alternative Organising’, ‘Building Bridges through Academic Activism’, and ‘Organising Change through Technology’. Closing with a Panel on ‘Activism through Education’. The break-down of each section includes papers presentations on ‘The Politics of Cooperative Movements’, ‘From Prefiguration to Preparation: Post-Capitalist Futures’, ‘Abolitionist Rewordings for a Post-pandemic Time’, and ‘Iceland: Intersectional Anarchism’ among many others.
