The wonderful team from Erasmus University Rotterdam & Rotterdam School of Management reached out to me to help them illustrate their annual winter greeting email for their 160,000 alumni.
For this holiday season, they wanted a greeting card with a double function: as an end of the year greeting card, and as a request for fundraising. The illustration had to give a positive and thoughtful mood around the theme of ‘people supporting each other’, and to communicate solidarity towards the charities they could give back, or they have the most affiliation with. The choices were: helping students who are affected by the war in Ukraine, and to support a research to predict and prevent dementia more effectively.
