Since 2003, the ESCR-net logo has represented the global character of a network uniting 300 social movements, organizations, and human rights defenders from around the world. Today, in Apéritif, we are renewing its image to reflect the collective strength in building alternative futures. The new brand image challenges the dominant worldview rooted in capitalist, racist, and patriarchal systems. This flexible proposal draws inspiration from diverse cartographic projections of the world, ultimately proposing not just a single logo but one that transforms. In this way, the new logo graphic system conveys both their collective power to shape the world and the diversity of perspectives within their network. This dynamic vision has been expanded into a visual universe, encompassing a new color palette and visual elements across all platforms and communications, strengthening the network’s capacity to envision, shape, and communicate alternative futures. The new, brighter, and bolder identity honors the communities worldwide resisting unjust systems and helps craft and amplify their collective narratives. It enhances the network's ability to convey their mission of advancing human rights and environmental rights. Together, we’ve developed a new look for a just future
