Etsy Powered by People Campaign (2021)

This creative brief was written for my Term 1 final year brief at The University of Huddersfield, 'Supporting Small Businesses'. Etsy is a global marketplace for unique goods. Etsy’s mission is to keep a human connection at the heart of commerce. The platform is ‘Powered by People’ and is a place where creativity thrives. Etsy values their sellers and launched a campaign, in April 2020, called ‘Stand with Small’. The objective of this creative project was to execute the ‘Powered by People’ message through producing promotional material to appear across multiple social media platforms. The intentions behind this project was to prompt and emotive response from consumers, reminding them that their purchases will help a small business owner and the sequence of the illustrations show the relationship between buyer and seller. The inspiration for this creative project came from my Enterprise Placement Year experience, from 2020-2021.
