'Every Night In: The Addiction' is a devised theatre performance that I designed, directed and produced myself, based on the popular trend of ‘Binge Watching’. The performance challenges the ideas behind spending 12 hours addictively watching television but finding the idea of going to watch a 2 hour long theatre play draining. I targeted a specific binge watching obsessed demographic by selecting a range of shows that are popular with the specific audience and worked alongside a team of actors and a production team to devised, design and realised a 2 hour long theatre performances that challenged the audiences ideas and opinions on binge watching and live performance.
