Exhibition work- Cutout animation

The project was for an exhibition at the University for the Creative arts on the topic of ‘Orientalism’. It was a collaboration of 5 classmates to showcase the reality behind why trains were introduced to India by the British. Project deliverables- 1. 1 model of the Indian Railways in 1953 made from laser cut wood 2. 3 videos talking about the British vs Indian perspective in the medium of cutout animation, 3. 6 Railway ‘Tickets’ that would link to an article talking about the history of India and Britain.
