• Exhibition work- Cutout animationThe project was for an exhibition at the University for the Creative arts on the topic of ‘Orientalism’. It was a collaboration of 5 classmates to showcase the reality behind why trains were introduced to India by the British. Project deliverables- 1. 1 model of the Indian Railways in 1953 made from laser cut wood 2. 3 videos talking about the British vs Indian perspective in the medium of cutout animation, 3. 6 Railway ‘Tickets’ that would link to an article talking about the history of Ind
• Risograph zine on RuminationIn this project I have explored the feeling of rumination i.e. constant uncontrollable stream of thoughts that are often negative and unhelpful. I have used only 2 colours- orange and black. The orange represents the feeling of anxiety overlapping with and often overtaking the “rational” parts of oneself, represented in black. I loved the texture of risographic printing. I have used charcoal for the original illustrations.
• Motion Graphics Video for InstagramThis personal project is my take on the latest trend on Instagram. The trend is an array of multiple still images, with a stationary aspect tying the video together. For my video, I have used around 54 doors of the town of Canterbury. They are placed carefully aligned with each other to create a pleasing blur of doors as a red character gets sucked under and comes out on the other side of the doors.
• Graduation Animatic on RuminationThe animatic was my graduation project. It was on the topic of rumination. I have delved into the personification of thoughts in this project.
