Experiential design

Designing an interactive experience that celebrated the 70th anniversary of the NHS and law firm DAC Beachcroft’s long-standing health sector expertise.

Coinciding with the 70th celebrations of the NHS, DAC Beachcroft were one of many organisations competing for delegates’ attention at the Confed event at Manchester Central.

The challenge was to design a stand to engage delegates, capture their details for follow-up marketing and communicate the client’s long-standing relationship and knowledge of the UK health sector.
The solution was a stand designed with magnetic wall, enabling delegates to play a game that challenged them to guess the year that milestone health events took place.

In addition to this, I designed a touchscreen kiosk that invited people to make predictions about future events through an interactive quiz and timeline games.
For both the stand and the touchscreen kiosk, I worked closely with third-party suppliers to source products that could bring the designs to life in a tactile way.

The colourful stand design featured stylised imagery of people from past decades to reflect the 70 year timeline.
