FÁBRICA DO FUTURO - Brand Identity System

Fábrica do Futuro's aim is to transform Porto Alegre, Brazil into a technological epicentre for Brazil's most innovative startups. Part co-working space, part maker lab and part tech education and incubation hub, the company's plan is to use their newly remodelled 3000m² facility to help grow, mentor and invest in Brazil's most innovative tech companies as well as offer talks/classes to the public to help stoke Brazil's next generation. We were approached by FdF to design a multifaceted identity that was flexible enough to inform and help visually communicate events and wayfinding in their future home.

Identity System
The Fábrica do Futuro logo centres around its building – a historic ex-toy factory in Porte Alegre. Their five-storey complex has been carefully sectioned off into spaces planned for specific activities such as talks, workshop and community events. Each floor is represented by a different colour which helps with wayfinding and instant recognition of purpose.
