FACES- An exploration of British youth culture

  • Ashleigh Ulett

In a world where brands stand as such an intrinsic part of everyday fashion influences within modern youth culture, a persons’ individuality still remains present through the expression of their personal style. FACES represents the people born in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. The people that don’t belong to a particular subculture, because to them they don’t exist. The people who have grown up with social media, forming communities through online platforms, enabling people to be exposed to current fashion trends before they’ve even skyrocketed. FACES is a personal project I produced during my final year at University. It's a publication that represents the cultural generation today, providing a collection of raw and unedited photography captured through England.
